🙏 URGENT! 🙏 PLEASE HELP A MOTHER & SON IN NEED 🙏
A disabled mother and her son are facing an overwhelming situation after a city water line broke, collapsing their driveway and flooding their basement with approximately 4 feet of water.
When the water finally went down, their basement and belongings were left buried in inches of thick, wet clay and contaminated debris. The force of the water tipped over their chest freezer, moved their washing machine and furniture, and scattered belongings throughout the basement.
They lost their furnace, hot water heater, television, furniture, holiday items, personal belongings and irreplaceable keepsakes.
Because they currently have no heat or hot water, along with concerns about contamination, mold and existing health conditions, they have been displaced from their home and are temporarily staying in a hotel.
Unfortunately, insurance provides only $5,000 in sewer/water coverage, while cleanup alone is estimated at $15,000–$20,000 — before replacing everything that was destroyed.
She does not have the financial resources or family support to handle this alone.

Right now, their greatest needs are:

2. 🥘 Meals that can easily be warmed up
3. ⛽ Gas cards
4. 🧴 Hygiene and personal-care items
5. 💵 Monetary donations toward immediate expenses and cleanup
6. 🙏 Prayers and encouragement
Because they are staying in a hotel, they cannot prepare regular meals or store many groceries, so restaurant cards and easy-to-heat meals are especially helpful.
This is going to be a long road, but even a small amount of help can make a difference while they work through the next several weeks and months.
