VITA is closed for the 2022 tax season and will reopen February of 2024 for the 2023 tax season. Please email [email protected] if you have issues with a return NRCA VITA have already completed. The IRS's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) programs offer free basic tax return preparation to qualified individuals. The VITA program has operated for over 50 y

ears. VITA sites offer free tax help to people who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns, including:

People who generally make $60,,000 or less
Persons with disabilities; and
Limited English-speaking taxpayers
In addition to VITA, the TCE program offers free tax help, particularly for those who are 60 years of age and older, specializing in questions about pensions and retirement-related issues unique to seniors. https://www.irs.gov/individuals/free-tax-return-preparation-for-qualifying-taxpayers

Would you like to volunteer? We have a variety of training options form facilitated to self study. We offer Volunteer work, Internships and Continuing Education Credits for working professionals. Letters of Recommendation for Employment or Scholarship applications.
