Welcome back! As we gear up for new 2026/2027 Giles Christian Homeschool Co-Op year, please review the key dates and details below. (If you did not receive an email please send us a direct message)

📅 Key Dates:
July 20: Registration opens (forms sent via email)

Aug 1: Parent Planning Meeting (Only in-person
registration & payment option)

Aug 5: Registration Closes (Strict deadline due to capacity)

Aug 7: Last day to add a class

Aug 10: Class options list sent out

Aug 17: Online class sign-ups open (No in-person sign-ups)

Aug 28: Meet & Greet

Sept 11 – Nov 20: Co-op classes (Bi-weekly on Fridays, 6 sessions total)

👥 Parent Planning Meeting:
Join us to vote on activities, plan classes, and drop off paperwork.

When: Saturday, August 1 | 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM

Where: TBA

Who: Adults only (nursing babies welcome). The primary co-op parent is highly encouraged to attend.

A little art today learning about Impressionism

New to the Tennessee State Museum Collection! Our recent acquisitions bring powerful stories of Tennessee’s past:

⛪ A handcrafted miniature of Nashville’s historic Mount Zion Baptist Church by artist Devin Drake.
🐴 A dynamic wire sculpture by Vannoy “Wireman” Streeter, celebrating Black craftsmanship and Tennessee Walking Horse heritage.
🛞 A late‑19th‑century Carpenter’s Wheel quilt from the Ezell family.
💌 The Charles Heglar Collection, honoring a beloved rural postal worker who logged over a million accident‑free miles.
🪆 An 1804 Thackston Family cloth doll, carried on a family’s journey to Tennessee and cherished across generations.
