A DAF is a tax-advantaged charitable investment account created specifically to support nonprofit organizations like The Ultimate Foundation. Grants from donor-advised funds help to foster access, grow youth ultimate, invest in local communities, and support the Girls’ Ultimate Movement and Delrico Johnson Fund.

Malachi Raymond, Youth Operations Manager at Boston Ultimate Disc Alliance, shared ”Support through the YCC fee waiver enables us not only to expand our YCC program, but also to reinvest in growing the sport locally. By reducing the financial burden of national competition, we’re able to reallocate resources to initiatives like our partnership with the City of Boston, where we provide free ultimate clinics that reach young athletes in predominantly underrepresented communities, creating truly new pathways into the sport.”

Sal Pace, a former Colorado State House leader, has found that the most immediate and personal impact comes from the ultimate field. In Pueblo, CO, he has built the thriving competitive youth program, providing a vital community for young athletes who previously had no access to the sport.

“I’ve spent my life trying to make a difference through government and politics,” Sal says. “But what I’ve found with this team is that the impact is immediate, personal and real. At this point, this team isn’t separate from my life; it is my life. They’re family now.”

At The Ultimate Foundation, we believe in empowering local communities that champion access. By removing financial barriers through USA Ultimate's Play it Forward program, we support teams like Pueblo to compete on the national stage.
