Pueblo House

We are a 501c3 non-profit whose mission is to empower the local youth in our community. The Original Pueblo House is located at 824 East 5th St.

The Pueblo House is a variety of passionate people, interested in contributing time and labor toward forming an education hub that will help uplift and serve the community through Art, Music & Media and Gardening. in Pueblo, Colorado. It was donated to OTR Foundation in 2013 and is now operating as a Music Housr & Community Radio Space. We recently sold 812 & 816 to allow us to purchase a 3.8 acr

es parcel of land with plans for a Veterans/Artists Tiny home village in East Pueblo. The Pueblo House is a community of people driven to be the change that inspires a neighborhood, once in serious decline, to renew itself and help its people. Activism, arts, music, gardening, media, mentoring, education, and more will play a role in revitalizing this Eastside area of Pueblo. The City of Pueblo, especially the east side, was in dire need of revitalization and beautification for many years. It's now starting to flurish and many of the abandoned houses have been repaired. Pueblo House is part of redevelopment in which a network of community minded people is transforming abandoned homes in the community and empowering to the people. We are the CHANGE we want to SEE.

Sadie is still missing but some thought a dog spotted off Joplin might be her. We’re asking anyone who might be in the area of Walter’s brewery to watch for her. We’re praying for a miracle dice she’s now been missing for over a week.

Yesterday Sadie got a makeover and now looks stunning! She's always drama queen when getting in the truck, but Jimi and I managed with serious coaxing, lol. Coming home is a breeze.

Stan and Carl showed up to flaunt their newest costumes - two big kids at heart! They were the only ones who showed up all evening. Guess door-to-door tricking is so last season!

Sadie has found a BFF in Tony. They have been bonding while we were away and it's just adorable to see how she loves him and he her. Thank you Hope & Tony for helping us, and Leo for watching over things while we were away.

Well, we’re back in Pueblo and happy to be home. Sadly, we picked up a few extras we hadn’t planned on; Jimi was diagnosed with pneumonia and Covid (since the flu is no longer being tracked or reporting on the CDC they call everything Covid). Needless to say we’ve been resting up to get ourselves well. The plan is to hunker down at home until the weekend. Saturday is my actual birthday but we celebrated enough in Bristol for a couple years worth. I found a CD in a small Irish town of 1954 hits.

Happy to be back in sunny town!

We're going ahead with Sept. 14th for our yard party while the weather is good. If we can, depending on weather, it would be great to have fireside play acoustic guitars and/or instruments. We'll be heading off the following week to get away for about a week or ten days. Hoping to see everyone. There'll be food, beverages and games for the kids.
