One of our dads told us he came into a Life Services class not really knowing what to expect and left feeling excited about becoming a dad.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

The need for support is very real, right here in Colorado.

On just one day in September 2025, Colorado domestic violence programs served 744 victims and received 306 hotline contacts. Of those served, 352 adults and children needed emergency shelter, transitional housing, hotels, motels, or other housing.

Those numbers represent real people looking for safety, support, and a way forward.

At ACPC Life Services, we believe every person deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. We want to help connect people with practical resources and support as they navigate difficult circumstances.

Domestic violence can affect individuals and families in ways that aren't always visible. This month, we're remembering that behind every statistic is a person who matters.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, so here’s something worth thinking about:

A healthy relationship should have room for respect, honesty, boundaries, and disagreement without fear.

Control, isolation, constant jealousy, and being made to feel guilty are not healthy relationship habits.

Our Annual Fundraising Banquet was an incredible night of celebration, laughter, and gratitude, and we are so thankful to everyone who joined us for this year’s “Adventure of a Lifetime”!

Because of your generosity, we raised $307,994.53 toward our $350,000 goal. Every gift represents someone who believes women and families deserve support, practical help, and someone willing to walk alongside them through the journey of pregnancy and parenting.

With 692 guests in the room and so many people giving, encouraging, and sharing in the evening, we were reminded just how special this community is. Thank you for being part of the adventure and helping make the work of ACPC possible.
