Canvas Credit Union presented a $100,000 gift in support of Colorado State University Pueblo, continuing a partnership that began about three years ago when Canvas became the official credit union of CSU Pueblo and opened a branch on campus.

Their support goes far beyond financial contributions, including T-shirt sponsorships, alumni discounts for games, shared promotions and continued engagement with the Pack.

Thank you, Canvas Credit Union, for being a true Champion for CSU Pueblo!

A few CSU Pueblo Foundation trustees recently had the opportunity to tour the University Archives on the sixth floor of the CSU Pueblo Library.

Led by University Archivist Maria Smyer, the visit offered a closer look at the history, stories and materials that help preserve CSU Pueblo’s legacy.

Congratulations to Zach Carleo, Resident District Manager with Elior North America at Colorado State University Pueblo, on receiving the Pack Way Award! 🐺👏

A CSU Pueblo alumnus, Zach has made a positive impact through his leadership of campus food and beverage operations and his partnership with the CSU Pueblo Foundation on the ThunderBowl Rooftop Project.

His work reflects the Pack Way through collaboration, donor engagement and support of university goals.

Today, we were proud to celebrate Dane Gemma-Johnson, the 2026 recipient of the Juliaetta Chostner Memorial Scholarship.

Dane was joined by his mother, Leslie Gemma, and his fiancée, Emilia Garcia, for the special gathering. Also in attendance were Jeff Chostner his wife Paula and CSU Pueblo President Dr. Rhonda Epper. Jeff is the son of Juliaetta Chostner, whose memory and legacy continue through this meaningful scholarship.

Juliaetta served for many years as a secretary in the CSU Pueblo Math Department, and the scholarship established in her honor continues to support students as they pursue their education and future goals.

Congratulations, Dane! We are proud to celebrate you and wish you continued success! 🐺❤️

CSU Pueblo officially celebrated the new playing surface at the ThunderBowl with a ribbon cutting alongside university leaders, community partners, supporters and representatives from the Denver Broncos.

This new turf is an investment not only in ThunderWolves Athletics, but in the many students, teams and community members who call the ThunderBowl home throughout the year.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this project possible. We’re excited for all the games, celebrations and memories still to come on this field!
