Zombie Walk of Pueblo, CO Founded May of 2010 - OUR GOAL IS TO GET 2000+ ZOMBIES TO WALK THE STREETS OF PUEBLO, CO YEARLY!!!! View Cemetery, inside the entrance on Beulah Ave.)

Founded May of 2010 - Our Goal is to provide a free, safe, family-friendly (though a little gorey) event that involves gathering the largest horde of Zombies that we possibly can!! 🧟 JOIN US, BRING YOUR FRIENDS/FAMILY/OLD AND YOUNG TO THE ZOMBIE REVOLUTION!!!

-This event is completely FREE, as well as kid and adult friendly; Fun for ALL AGES

-Dress as a Zombie, or a Survivor(usually marked with

an "X" or wear a getup that makes it obvious) - (Survivors may bring foam or nerf (safe) weapons to attack Zombies after the walk)

-Meet at the location (Mt. at the specified time (5-5:30pm)

-Mingle while we wait for our horde to form 💚

-Join in our Walk/Crawl- We will be walking to Bessemer Park! (Bring water)

-At Bessemer Park, it is BATTLE time!!! Zombies, try to turn survivors! Survivors, try to kill Zombies!!!

-At this point, there are no rules... if you're hit, you only gotta stay down for a little bit and can join right back in

-Prepare for a fun time!! Battle usually dies down around

Attention: 🚨 🚨 🚨

November Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), commonly known as food assistance, Benefits on HOLD due to Federal Government Shutdown

Pueblo County Department of Human Services has been notified that SNAP (food assistance) benefits will be held in November due to the federal government shutdown.

Please continue to apply and submit renewals and other documents as department staff WILL continue to process the paperwork, so that when benefits may be released, they can be available. Medicaid and cash benefits will not be affected at this time.

The State of Colorado and Pueblo County have no control over when SNAP benefits may be available. We know that many Pueblo County residents rely on SNAP benefits, and this is alarming news. We will continue to monitor the situation and update our community as information becomes available.

Save the Date, Clear your Schedule, and Spread the Word! This year's Zombie Walk of Pueblo will be held at the Lake Minnequa Veterans Memorial Park & Open Space!!

Saturday, September 20th at 4:00pm

Meeting in the small pavilion at:
3005 Lakeshore Drive. Pueblo, CO 81004
You can access this area off of Pueblo Blvd. By taking Gretna, or by taking Lakeshore off of Lake Ave.

Please arrive in your Zombie or Survivor attire!
Zombie Walk time is upon us!! Here is the rundown:

-Dress as a Zombie, or a Survivor - Survivor's may be marked with an "X" or wear a getup that makes it obvious) - (Survivors may bring foam or nerf (safe) weapons to attack Zombies after the walk) No hard plastic or real weapons.

-Meet at the location and check-in at one of the tables in the pavilion - all participants must sign a waiver before we can proceed

-Mingle while we wait for our horde to form 💚

-Join in our Walk/Crawl- We will be taking a short walk from the meeting location to Pueblo Blvd. And back to the open space area

-Once we cross the grassy area,it is BATTLE time!!! Zombies, try to turn survivors! Survivors, try to kill Zombies!!!

-At this point, there are no rules... if you're hit, you only gotta stay down for a little bit and can join right back in... The fun is in the CHASE!
