Hi folks!

PFAR is managing the beer garden area for the Steel City Arkansas River Festival (SCARF) on Saturday, June 27 from 11am-6pm at Waterworks Park as a fundraiser and we are looking for a few more helping hands.

Apologies for the delayed posting... but better late than never!😅

Bring your friends and family and join us this Saturday morning at 9am for the June cleanup!

We will be cleaning up the area just past Fay's Crossing along the Thomas Phelps Creek Trail heading downstream towards Runyon Lake.

How to get there... Two ways to get to the area.
#1 🅿 Park near ABC Plumbing off of Santa Fe Ave & Spring St. parking near Blo Back Gallery is available too. Walk north on Santa Fe towards Fay's Crossing (the pedestrian walkway that crosses Santa Fe. Ave) there will be a PFAR member to greet you.
#2 🅿 Park on Alan Hamel Ave. near Santa Fe Ave. and walk south down Santa Fe Ave. and there will be a PFAR member there to greet you.

👉We will have buckets, grabbers and bags. Please bring your own gloves, water and lots of energy! If you know of any groups, friends, or relatives that would like to help, please invite them! 🫶

Grab your tickets to the Meet & Greet of the Levee Artists!

🖌Support of the many artists that are creating works of art on the Arkansas River levee. Over 120 murals have been painted to date on the levee with more to go!

Thank you to everyone that join us Saturday at Runyon Lake for the Great American Cleanup - Fountain Creek Watershed with our friends Fountain Creek Watershed District!!

It was awesome to have everyone join together to clean up the area! We appreciate everyone that made this possible. 🫶

Mark your calendars for PFAR's June First Saturday Cleanup on Saturday, June 6. We are now on our "summer hours" trying to beat the heat some, and starting at 9am!!

Getting closer to the FIRST SATURDAY CLEANUP!!
We are teaming up with the Fountain Creek Watershed District for our first Saturday of the month cleanup with the Great American Cleanup on Saturday, May 2 - and we would LOVE your help!
Where: Runyon Lake, parking lot
When: 9am
What to Bring: Gloves, rubber boots/waders if you have them - wagons are handy too!
We are also needing folks with kayaks to help get some of that trash that is in the water. 🚣

Join the Pueblo Conservancy District for a Levee Mural Artist Meet & Greet on Wednesday, May 13 at Pillar Park!🤩

Artists telling stories about their time on the wall, raffles for prizes, and a whole lot of more fun planned for the evening. This is a great fundraiser for the Levee Artists!
