North Idaho Experience: W**d Isn’t What It Used to Be

In this eye-opening episode, Aubree and Mary reveal how their once-thriving sons — honor students full of potential — descended into psychosis, hospitalizations, violent episodes, and years of misdiagnosis. They break down the science of cannabis-induced psychosis vs. bipolar disorder, explain the life-threatening condition known as Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome (CHS), and pull back the curtain on how the ma*****na industry is targeting young lives while public awareness remains dangerously low.

Watch, learn, and share—because every brain matters.

🚨 **NEW STUDY: Teen Cannabis Addiction Diagnoses Rose After Legalization in California!**

A new Kaiser Permanente study of more than **637,000 adolescents** found that cannabis use disorder diagnoses were declining by approximately **6% annually before legalization**, but increased by **8% annually afterward**.

These findings raise serious concerns about the impact of ma*****na commercialization on youth brain health and addiction.

**At Every Brain Matters, we believe protecting young brains must come before expanding access to addictive THC products.**

**Legal does not mean safe. Prevention matters. Every Brain Matters.** đź§

Have you ever shared your story and then questioned whether you should have?

Speaking openly about how cannabis-related harms have affected your family takes courage. But sometimes, after sharing something deeply personal, we experience what is known as a vulnerability hangover.

You might feel anxious, exposed, emotional, or even regretful. You may replay the conversation in your mind and wonder, “Did I share too much?”

These feelings don’t mean you made a mistake.

Advocacy can be powerful, but it can also be emotionally exhausting. Remember:

You get to decide how much of your story to share.

It’s okay to set boundaries and protect your peace.

You can make a difference without sharing every painful detail.

Taking time to recharge is part of sustainable advocacy.

Your story matters, but so does your well-being.

Let’s talk: Have you ever experienced a vulnerability hangover after sharing your family’s story? What helped you work through those feelings?

Together, we can create a community where families feel safe, supported, and empowered to speak up.

Every Brain Matters. Every Voice Matters.

🕊️ **IN LOVING MEMORY OF BRIAN FULLER**
**Forever 19** ❤️

Today, we remember **Brian Fuller**—a beloved son, brother, uncle, and young man who was deeply loved by his family.

Brian’s mother, Rita Worstell, describes him as a **fun-loving, hardworking 19-year-old who loved his family dearly, especially his sisters and niece.**

After Brian died by su***de on October 15, 2021, Rita began searching for answers. She learned that Brian had been using **Delta-8 THC cartridges and high amounts of Delta-9 ma*****na.** Before his death, Brian reported losing track of time and experiencing blackouts. He also left a note describing hearing voices telling him it was okay to end his life.

Rita once believed, **“It’s just ma*****na.”** Today, she shares Brian’s story so other parents understand that THC products—including Delta-8—are not harmless.

Brian was so much more than the circumstances surrounding his death. **He was a son who was loved, a brother, an uncle, and a young man whose life mattered.**

Our officers recently conducted a 3 a.m. security check of Meridian Hill Park. The officers observed one subject violating closure hours and consuming ma*****na. Our officers detained the individual for the two violations and questioned him on additional narcotics on his persons or property. The subject then attempted to flee but was quickly detained and arrested. A search revealed multiple narcotics/drug types. The individual also had a concealed prohibited weapon (brass knuckles – prohibited in many U.S. cities, including DC, for the general public).
