CRWA’s Source Water Protection Specialists, Jackson Reagan and Nicolas Gach, recently joined the Watershed Wildfire Protection Group (WWPG) for a field tour of Wildfire Ready Action Plan (WRAP) projects near North Catamount Reservoir.

The tour highlighted successful wildfire mitigation and stream restoration efforts that help strengthen watershed resilience, improve water quality, and enhance wildfire preparedness. As WRAP initiatives continue across Colorado, public water systems are encouraged to get involved in efforts within their local watersheds.

CRWA is proud to support our member systems when they need us most.

Last Friday, Claude Strait traveled to Beulah to assist Quinn Bryant from Pine Drive Water District with assessing fire damage and shutting off meter pits to help prevent potential cross-contamination of the water system.

We appreciate Claude's dedication and the continued efforts of everyone working to help communities recover and protect safe drinking water. Thank you to all those on the ground making a difference. 💙
