That’s a wrap on the Grand Junction Mini-Conference!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the September 9–10 at the Grand Junction Convention Center for two days of training, learning, and connecting with fellow water and wastewater professionals.

CRWA’s Source Water Protection Specialists, Jackson Reagan and Nicolas Gach, recently joined the Watershed Wildfire Protection Group (WWPG) for a field tour of Wildfire Ready Action Plan (WRAP) projects near North Catamount Reservoir.

The tour highlighted successful wildfire mitigation and stream restoration efforts that help strengthen watershed resilience, improve water quality, and enhance wildfire preparedness. As WRAP initiatives continue across Colorado, public water systems are encouraged to get involved in efforts within their local watersheds.
