Representatives from several local granges attended the State Grange regional meeting, held at Prunedale Grange Hall on Feb. 1. Prunedale Grange members provided a delicious salad buffet for the occasion. The Empowered to Thrive meeting was focused on strengthening local granges and helping them enhance their programs and gain new members. Lots of great information - we’re very appreciative of the State Grange’s commitment and dedication! Pictured here is State Grange Treasurer and State Grange Foundation President Susan Hanks, who spoke on ways for granges to raise funds and the importance of good record keeping.

Now that Halloween is over, time to get ready for Christmas! The Prunedale Grange Holiday Craft Market is coming up this Saturday, November 8, 9am-3pm with wonderful handmade wares by our local artisans - perfect for gift giving or your own holiday celebrations. Jewelry, baked goods, goat milk soap, pet blankets and ornaments are just a few of the items for sale, with more than 20 vendors to choose from!

Our first ever Trunk or Treat is coming up this Friday, on Halloween, at Prunedale Grange from 5-8 pm! Admission is free.

We offer safe and fun trick-or-treating, a jump house, a costume contest, a decorated car contest and the chance to meet a mini-horse who will also be in costume! It will be a fun evening for everyone and we look forward to seeing you then. Volunteers, cars and candy donations would be appreciated; contact Cathleen at 831-578-7745 or Stevie at 831-206-1830.
