Thank you to everyone who came to our first "Spring/Summer Bazaar" we had a very nice turnout and our vendors were happy. Lunch was good, thanks Bonnie and we did awesome on the Raffle. Thanks Amie for selling the raffle tickets. Speaking of the raffle, the winners are 1st ticket pull was for the beautiful bike, winner Gayle Shell, 2nd ticket drawn was for the grill and the winner was Cecelia Lamb, 3rd ticket drawn was for the painting and lap quilt the winner is Tony & Pat K. Pictured below: Gayle and Kara standing in for Cecelia, Tony & Pat will be called.

We're Open! Don't let a little rain keep ya home. Variety of items and sweet goodies too! Our balloon lady will make you a fun treat. We're open until 3 o'clock with lunch at 11 - 1:30. Chili dog (plain), bag of chips, bottle of water and fresh baked cookie $6.00

M'm! M'm! good! M'm! M'm! good! Erika makes M'm good meatloaf! Today we had 45 friends for lunch at our Roscommon Center! Everyone left with a full belly. Thank you for supporting RCCOA. A huge Thank you to our kitchen staff for taking such good care of our HDM friends and the 45 who came in today. Great job Erika, Tammy, Erin and Mike for caring about our community.

FYI: RCCOA is holding their monthly Board Meeting at the Houghton Lake Center. Next week on Wednesday, June 17th at 1:00 p.m. plan on lunch and stay for the meeting. Then join in the conversation on Roscommon County Senior Telehealth Hub Community Planning Meeting at 2:00 p.m. A new community resource that will help older adults access Healthcare services through telehealth technology. Come hear about our plan and offer suggestions. Call Deb with questions 989-366-0205. We are also looking for members for this adventure's board to make it happen.

There's still time to grab a booth for this weekend's "Spring-Summer Bazaar" held at our Houghton Lake Center. Our Center is located right behind the Pines Theater. After finding awesome items plan on having lunch. We're having coney dogs (or plain), bag of chips and fresh baked cookie and a bottle of water, all for $6.00. This is a Fundraiser for our "Home Delivered Meals" program. Hope to see ya there! Thank you for supporting RCCOA.

I hope you came into one of our 3 Centers today and enjoyed a delicious meal. Today we added another new dish to our menu Sweet &Sour Meatballs, Brown Rice, Stir Fry Vegetables and Hot Spiced Apples. Yummy! This is just one of the many new items that will be served at our Centers. Next week Cheese Stuffed Shells, Green Beans, Wheat Bread and Grapes. We still have room for a few more people to attend the "AARP Smart Driver Course" on Monday, July 20th and Wednesday, July 22nd at 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. both days. The cost for this course is $20.00 for AARP members and $25.00 for non-members. Call 989-366-0205 to reserve a seat. You must complete both sessions to receive your certificate. The classes are being held at our Annex at 1015 Short Dr. Prudenville across from the Animal Shelter.
