The Provo Pioneer Village located at 600 North 500 West, Provo, UT, 84601 is in need of donations and volunteers. http://www.provopioneervillage.org

The Provo Pioneer Village, which showcases early pioneer life in Provo, has become a major tourist attraction, drawing thousands of visitors each summer (Memorial Day to Labor Day) and offering free admission. More than 2,300 visitors attended Pioneer Day alone. In addition, local 4th-grade classes tour the village as part of their study of Utah history.

With the increasing number of visitors, the village urgently needs additional volunteers. A wide variety of functions are available. If you or your spouse knows a relative, neighbor, or friend who may be interested in volunteering, please let one of our officers know.

Pioneer Village needs funds to maintain, improve, and expand its facilities as visitors continue to grow. Current projects include stucco work on the adobe home to preserve it and chimney repair on another home. We would appreciate any donation you can make. Checks should be made payable to “Provo Pioneer Village.” Send your tax-deductible donation check to:
Pioneer Village Treasurer, James Rosenvall, 2488 North 930 East, Provo, UT 84604.

Taxpayers using the standard deduction can claim an additional $1,000 (single) or $2,000 (joint) for charitable donations.
