Today we celebrated the retirement of our Coke machine! This hard-working guy has been a special part of CUE for over 20 years. Unfortunately, the internal computer broke down and is unable to be replaced due to age. But we couldn't let the machine just leave without having a proper send off!! ❤️🥤🖤

For International Days in June, we traveled to the Caribbean country of Haiti 🇭🇹

We learned a lot of facts about this beautiful nation- for example, did you know the national fruit of Haiti is mangoes, and they grow over 100 different varieties?! 🥭 Of course, we had to try some fresh mango - some of us for the first time!

However, we also talked about how life in a Haiti is very difficult right now due to natural disasters, civil unrest, poverty, and hunger. But---by playing trivia on Freerice (sponsored by the WFP) we earned the equivalent of over 200 grains of rice 🍚 to send to Haiti and other many other countries around the world.

No matter how hard life can seem, never forget the differences we can make when we work together! 🩵🌏

We were BERRY excited to harvest our strawberries today and make strawberry shakes!!!🍓

Amber & Mariah read us 2 camping-themed books 🏕️ and then we sang campfire songs 🎵🔥 We finished with Sockflea: A Stuffie in the Wild, and we made our own "sockfleas"🧦

After learning about this beautiful and biodiverse country, we celebrated with flowers 🌼 and picking a Colombian animal to learn more about. 🦥🐆🦜🦋
