Beards For BYU

Beards For BYU Beards, isn't it about....time? During the 1970 a new rule was introduced forbidding all facial hair with the exception of a mustache.

The BYU Dress and grooming standards are standards that were put in place to keep a professional and respectable atmosphere at BYU. However, this antiquated rule needs to be changed. There are many students, faculty and alumni who feel this way. Beards are professional, beards are respectable. We need to get this rule changed and updated.

"A man makes a beard, a beard does not make a man." - Somebody probably said it.
I have had a few run in with others who embrace the idea of the "hyper masculine" beard lately. The idea that only bearded men are to be considered real men. Beards are awesome, beards are great, beards will make you more attractive. But they do not determine the ones integrity, moral character or honesty. The man behind the beard determines those.

Some say it was his time, other say it was his beard. But I say it was definitely his beard.
