Hello friends.
I am not sure you all know my personal story. I was once a boy who went to bed hungry and woke without hope. What made my life so different. Strangers at that 5ime supporting the Baptist Haiti Mission made acces to my education FREE and gave courage and a future. That is why today, as Executive Director of H2ope Ministries, I see in those kids mixh greater potential than I have. That why H2ope Ministries pairs education with water and made them freely available for the kids.
This year, we saved a school from closing, giving 200 kids free education, desks, and much more...
This holidays season, we are asking for your support so that we can sustain. Covering teachers salaries, improve the school facility, providing water to more families won't be possible without your support.

Marie-Marthe’s family was among many others in the Derrière-Savanne/Kenscoff region of Haiti living in despair as the ever-present burden of water access kept them trapped in a cycle of poverty. Thanks be to God the table has turned for Marie-Martha last year when her family received a H2ope Ministries reservoir. Because she finally had time to allocate to more prosperous activities, Marie-Marthe was able to secure a place in an open market near her home and is selling basic food products as a retailer. Marie-Marthe has embraced a new journey for her and her whole family that has increased their income by 32%. That is a significant contribution to her family monthly assets. She aims to improve her small business and earn more profit from it in the future. She is so proud for being able to bring her financial contribution and help her family meet their needs.

“Only God knows the importance of the blessing that project brings to our community. Before that I had to take my buckets and walk starting at 4:00am every morning so that I could bring water in time for my children to wash and go to school. I had to go back again in the middle of the day and in the afternoon also to be able collect sufficient water for the other needs. There was no way I could have found time for other things. That was terrible. My husband does not earn enough to meet all our needs and I felt guilty for not being able to contribute. Now that I have started my own small commerce, we have a better income. We are confident that our children will have a better life with the contribution that I now bring! May God bless H2ope Ministries more so that they can bless others in our community!” - Marie-Marthe

Our goal is to see water is available by just turning a faucet at home for all kids. No more walking miles away, risking life, fighting, going down slippery slope to fetch gallons of water!

Whenever a donor finances the construction of a water cistern for a family, we provide all the necessary proof that construction is completed in less than a month and we continue to provide updates to the donor on any transformation that happens in the life of the recipients thanks to that cistern, even after the completion is made.

Donors can have a personal connection with recipients of reservoirs and hear the testimony of the change they help happen!

We are proud of having been part of this transformational journey! Yes! In Haiti we are really helping families to have access to water in their households instead of having to walk miles away to fetch gallons of water. Here are some examples of before and after! Having to walk miles away on a daily basis is one of the reasons that keeps children out of school and we all know they will be forever in poverty without a basic education.
