Reservations open on March 16th, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern time (EDT). The season is from July 3-November 23, 2026. (Shoulder rates begin 9/28-11/23)

We have a couple more active nights for the beginning of the fall migration. The radar was full of birds last night and that will likely happen again tonight as winds are coming from the north. The peak of the fall migration is in September. You can help by turning off outdoor lights and reducing light pollution.

Extra Race Point Lighthouse Tour on Thursday, August 7, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 2 p.m. to celebrate National Lighthouse Day. 2 mile hike each way—No flipflops or bare feet. $5 “donation” goes toward LH preservation & restoration. Bring drinking water and bug spray. NPS permitted ORV access at this time or hike out.
The closest hike spot is the NPS Hatches Harbor parking lot (about 12 cars maximum). Hike out the Fire Road. Tide dependent (AUG 7 low tide is 4:38 PM). Might get feet wet if near high tide because the last piece near the lighthouse is on the edge of the dunes. Come see the Lighthouse. Come see the StationKeeper box to help save the North American Right Whale. First Lighthouse on the Cape to have one. Sandy Neck is next. More to follow.

Today, July 6, hike out to Race Point Lighthouse for a tour! The lighthouse is ooen from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Proper footwear required—no flip-flops. A suggested donation of $5 goes towards lighthouse preservation. See the web site for more info. www.racepointlighthouse.org
