Daisy and I held our final circle of the year at the Provincetown International Baccalaureate School today, wrapping things up with a wonderful celebration circle! 🌊We asked our students to share a single word describing how they felt about our time together. We love learning from our youth, and we were thrilled to find out that our circles are officially "Sigma" (which they assured us means peak cool)! 😎Receiving this kind of positive feedback is incredibly rewarding. At the end of the day, these students are the ones we serve, the ones we care about, and the heart of why we do this work. We are immensely grateful to the International Baccalaureate school community for partnering with us and welcoming our practices into their space.Sea Blue Company will be back in action this fall. Giving back is part of what it means to be Livin’ Swell.

Through the Livin’ Swell Initiative, Sea Blue Company proudly provides pro bono restorative justice, conflict resolution, and community-building services to members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Sea Blue Company’s President, Maura Stein, also volunteers with Helping Our Women (HOW) in Provincetown, supporting an organization dedicated to helping women facing chronic or life-threatening health conditions.

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve, support, and strengthen our community.

Happy Memorial Day from Sea Blue Company 🌊

It’s been a busy and meaningful week at Sea Blue. Daisy and I had the privilege of facilitating two Welcome Circles at two very different residential homes. Together, we worked with residents to create shared values, guidelines, and agreements so everyone could live together with respect, understanding, and community.

We also spent time in a school facilitating listening circles with young students and creating space for youth voice, connection, and belonging.

In addition, we continued work with an adult neurodiverse agency focused on embedding restorative justice practices into programming, culture, and curriculum to help build stronger and more supportive communities.

This Memorial Day, we are also reminded of the importance of listening, remembrance, and reciprocity for the veterans and families who have sacrificed so much for our communities and our country. May we honor them not only in words, but through how we care for and show up for one another.
