🎗💜Meet Izzy - the reason behind The Izzy Foundation💜🎗

Izzy IZspired so many during her short but beautiful life. She lived each day to the fullest, never letting cancer dim her light. She was filled with laughter, song, dance, and joy that touched everyone around her.

Today, on what would have been Izzy’s 17th birthday, we honor her. We carry her spirit forward - spreading her light and continuing the work on her behalf through The Izzy Foundation: supporting children and their families to LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE & PLAY every single day. 💛🦒

Happy Heavenly Birthday, Izzy. You are forever our guiding star. 💫🌟💫

✨Childhood Cancer Awareness Month✨

🎗Introducing Michelle🎗

Michelle Marie Hopkins was a wonderful girl with a bright spirit, the greatest laugh you could hear and an incredible heart of gold.

During the winter of 1978, Michelle began to have some complaints of pain and often had a low grade fever. Throughout January, February and March, many trips were made to her pediatrician with no real correct diagnosis. On April 8, 1978, after being brought to the hospital, Michelle was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. Throughout Michelle's three years of treatment, which would include nausea, vomiting, bone pain and hair loss, Michelle continued to smile and laugh, making friends with the doctors, nurses and other patients. She never complained and faced the unknown with courage, strength and always a smile which inspired all those around her.

No one ever thought that Michelle would not beat this awful leukemia but unfortunately on July 17, 1981, a wonderful bright light was taken from all of us too soon when Michelle passed away. Her family, friends and all who knew her always continue to keep her memory alive and her beautiful freckled -faced near and dear to our hearts.

🎗Please meet Olivia🎗

Olivia was diagnosed in June 2021 with Pre-B cell ALL(Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia). This was the same cancer that her younger brother had nine years earlier. She was treated at Hasbro and the Tomorrow Fund Clinic and also shared the same oncologist and nurse that her brother had so many years earlier. She completed treatment in two years and celebrated with a wish trip to Hawaii. Heartbreakingly she relapsed in February of 2024 and underwent a stem cell transplant that May. She is doing amazing and is currently a freshman at the College of Charleston in South Carolina.

🎗We'd like to introduce you to Alex🎗

Alex was diagnosed in October 2012 with Pre-B cell ALL(Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) one week after his 4th birthday. He was treated at Hasbro and The Tomorrow Fund Clinic until he completed treatment in 2014. Today, Alex is a healthy 16 (almost 17) year old honor student who loves to golf and play with his puppy, Sunny.

🎗We'd like to introduce you to our friend Emma🎗

My name is Emma Katzen and 13 years ago I received news that changed the entire trajectory of my life. Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. I spent days upon days and years upon years in Hasbro Children’s Hospital receiving treatment and undergoing many surgeries. I finally reached the end of the tunnel and I have now been cancer free for over a decade. Because of that I am now a new mom and living the life I always dreamed of!
