Dick Ross Opportunity Foundation, Inc Operation Adopt Africa Our History:
DOF was established in 1972 by Mrs. Rose A Ross Bellah. DOF is committed to helping others help themselves.

We establish and support projects which encourage stability and self -sufficiency among African peoples. Since its inception, DOF has provided assistance in the following areas:
1. Education-Providing child and Adult education
2. Agriculture - Providing tools, seeds, and training to turn plots of land into viable farms.
3. Business Development - Providing the support for women to establish and mai

ntain successful businesses.
4. HealthCare- Establishing Clinics

Our Challenge:
Much of our work was destroyed by the wars which have affected many parts of Africa. Those who have survived the atrocities of war are refugees in strange lands, unable to gain asylum in the West. Most wish to return to their homes, but face the daunting task of rebuilding their homes, roads, schools and farms. The members of DOF realize that many refugees if given the opportunity to support, are willing to return to their homes and rebuild their communities. Our work continues We have begun the rebuilding process and are committed to spreading our work throughout Africa.
