ssion for creating, appreciating and understanding all forms of photo-based media and seek to provide a platform for artistic expression while fostering dialogue and innovation in the arts. WaterFire is looking for your photos of Rhode Islanders, to create a living portrait of Rhode Island. Help illustrate Rhode Island’s cultural, social, artistic, and historical evolution, through its citizens. This Open Call is for Portraits of the people of Rhode Island, at work, at play, or anywhere in-between. Selected images will be projected at the July 4th WaterFire as part of RI250, and America’s 250th Anniversary

Capture the essence of Rhode Island through the people who call it home. Pictures that capture the location, activity or celebrations, are encouraged to help tell the story of the state from 1776 to today.
