Today is Native Giving Day. Today we launch the Kinship Circle.

Turtle Island Community Capital is a Native-led nonprofit and the only institution of its kind operating at regional scale across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.

We serve approximately 45 tribal nations across the region, pairing patient capital with technical assistance and community building so Indigenous entrepreneurs can lead their own economic futures. Roughly 180 people move through Native Impact Nights each year, finding capital connections, one-on-one business support, and relationships with other Native entrepreneurs building businesses rooted in cultural identity and community purpose.

The Kinship Circle funds that ecosystem directly. $25 a month is a co-investment in capital sovereignty. 🔗 Link in bio.

We are so grateful to be welcomed to the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation to share the amazing work our communities continue to do across the region.

We opened the night with song and prayer to celebrate the impactful moment of community and connections.

Last night’s Native Impact Night – Speakeasy Edition was exactly what community is supposed to feel like.

Captured beautifully by , these moments show our leaders, our relatives, and friends from every part of our lives gathering in a good way. Thank you for hosting an incredible evening.

With food from and , we celebrated a season of harvest and abundance. We celebrated not just in what we eat, but in the relationships we choose to grow. Big thanks to trainers .deer and David Fleming for coming down and from the and for filling our event with laughter.

These nights are about creating safe containers where people can show up fully, meet one another at a soul level, and be truly welcomed as they need to be and as they are.

No pretense. No performance. Just connection, culture, and possibility.

Grateful for everyone who came through.
Grateful for the stories shared.
And grateful for the community we’re building together, one gathering at a time.
