We have an incredible and IZSPIRING group of both high school and college students participating in this fundraising challenge to help support our mission at The Izzy Foundation to help our patients and their families to LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE and PLAY! 💜 🦒

SUPERHERO SPOTLIGHT - The Hero Package Foundation

We are so grateful to Jen and our friends at The Hero Package Foundation who sponsored their Sixth Annual Super Hero Sammy Bag Drive — held in loving memory of angel Sammy Hawkes. 💜
The Hero Package Foundation so generously donated a dozen Hero Bags filled with Sammy’s favorite things that were so happy to give to our Izzy patients and families.

These Hero Bags brought so much joy and happiness to our families. We were able to also have an amazing lunch donated by Keane's Wood-Fired Catering who are monthly sponsors who so kindly donate a meal in memory of angel Sammy Hawkes too. It was a beautiful day to honor such a beautiful child.

Thank you so much, The Hero Package Foundation and Keane's Wood-Fired Catering, for prioritizing the happiness of our inpatient families at Hasbro Children's Hospital! Providing any sort of normalcy for our Izzy Families goes a long way, as everyone, no matter their situation, deserves to LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE and PLAY.💛💜

A heartfelt "THANK YOU" to our amazing friends at Lawson Charitable Foundation

We cannot extend enough gratitude and appreciation to Lawson Charitable Foundation for presenting The Izzy Foundation with one of their Impact Grant Awards! This incredible grant helps us to continue to provide for our patients and families every day in our Mission to LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE and PLAY.

It is so important to note that we would never be able to continue to do what we do without amazing people and organizations like the Lawson Charitable Foundation. Thank you so very much for being a true IZSPIRATION to us. 💛💜

💜 Today, we’re thinking of Izzy and the beautiful young woman she would be as we celebrate what would have been her 18th birthday.

😇 Her spirit remains at the heart of The Izzy Foundation, guiding everything we do and IZspiring us to help families LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE and PLAY through some of their most difficult days.

✨ Izzy’s life may have been far too short, but her impact continues to grow. Every family we comfort, every child we support, and every act of kindness done in her name carries a little piece of her light forward.

Happy 18th Heavenly Birthday, sweet Izzy. Thank you for continuing to light our way. We will always be IZspired by YOU! 💜🦒💜

As Childhood Cancer Awareness Month comes to a close we want to take a moment to honor all of the incredible heroes who are fighting or have fought pediatric cancer. 🎗️

These photos are just a snapshot of some of the amazing kiddos we’ve had the privilege of meeting over the years - each with their own story, their own journey and their own incredible strength. 💜

While September may be coming to an end, our commitment to these children and their families never does! We will continue to stand beside them, celebrate the survivors, remember the angels and support families through every chapter of their journey not just during September, but every day of the year. 💛
