Its twofold mission is to improve the lives of people living in the rural villages of West Africa, while providing meaningful opportunities for workforce and community development to the West African c

ommunity living in Providence, RI, where the organization was founded. It provides basic supports and economic and educational opportunities to these communities, with an emphasis on empowering women, youth, and young adults as agents of change and self-determination.

🥬🌶🍆Farm to Table! Oooh, how did our little garden grow? With eggplants, hot peppers, collard greens, and much, much, more.

And with great precision and in the expert hands of Love, Agnes, Gerry and the rest of the team - working their magic in the kitchen they took our first harvest and created a masterpiece of deliciousness for the Sweeties' lunch today:Liberian Eggplant Stew and Rice. Omggg!!!!!😋

When I tell you it was so good, and that. "Love Put Her Foot In It." Believe me.

This is exactly how we envisioned using our garden at the Rukiya Center to feed the Sweeties, volunteers, and staff. Thank you to everyone involved for making this harvest a success.🥬🌶🍆
