Oppose HR 2339

The House of Representatives voted on rules for consideration of HR.2339 which will ban flavors and online sales - and enact a v***r products tax larger than the tax on ci******es (!) this afternoon, and the vote total shows Democrats are short of the 218 votes needed to pass it! ((Whoot!!)) However, they are twisting arms right now to get the votes needed for passage tomorrow, so we need your help now more than ever!

If we can kill these over-reaching prohibition and taxation bills nationally, it will be the “shot heard around the world” and will make to***co controllers everywhere take us seriously!

We need YOU - Everyone - to call 202 225-3121 and ask to be routed to your Congressperson (don’t worry if you don’t know who it is, they’ll ask your zip code and connect you). Tell the person who answers the office phone that you expect your Representative to vote against this legislation that prevents people from quitting ci******es, and taxes v***r at a higher rate than ci******es! These bills protect smoking and big to***co companies and hurt American adults, like you. Tell them you oppose HR 2339 and you would like your Congressperson to oppose it as well.

Please do this right away! The vote on passage will be tomorrow morning!

🚨 SIX THINGS YOU CAN DO TO FROM HOME TO HELP STOP THE PROPOSED FLAVOR BAN IN RHODE ISLAND!!

The Department of Health has proposed legislation that will permanently ban flavored v**e products beyond the new federal guidelines. The public comment deadline for this legislation ends on January 26th.

👉 1. Please email your testimony to:
[email protected] Ask the RIDOH to oppose the permanent ban on flavored v**e products and suggest they follow the new federal law.

For the last 5 years the a group of RI dedicated v**e businesses have been donating every year to make sure that RI has had proper representation to fight bad legislation. Unfortunately this year these businesses have lost 60%-80% of their business due to the flavor ban and are struggling to stay open. They really need your help this year to stop the Governors proposed permanent flavor ban and 80% tax from passing.

🚨 WOULD YOU DONATE $5, $10, OR ANYTHING TO HELP US FIGHT THE GOVERNORS PROPOSED FLAVOR BAN?

There is all most 50,000 Va**rs in RI. If even 1000 of them donated $10 each we would reach out goal of 10,000 or even $5 each we would reach half our goal.

The Rhode Island Chapter of SFATA needs your help to fight the permanent flavor ban and v**e tax will be in the Governor budge this year. Past years SFATA Chapter members also know as IVORI has raised money each year on its own to fight bad legislation from passing but now that some shops have gone out of business, we are coming up short and really need your help more than ever.

This year are asking for help from anyone, consumers, Distributors, Juice Companies along with ALL the RI businesses who sell v**e products in the State to help us fight this. Anything will help! We can not do it alone this year!
