Repost from of Harrison Tuttle’s deeply important & illuminating article emphasizing the need for protecting our unhoused community members and police accountability—more than ever as the FIFA World Cup Approaches.

As community members, it’s imperative that we support our neighbors experiencing homelessness and those subject to inhumane and unjust treatment from the police.

By providing testimony or even just showing up to City Council on Wednesday, May 13th at 5:30 pm, we can advance one method of holding our police accountable—through strengthening P.E.R.A (Providence External Review Authority). Visit the link in our bio for more information and tips on testimony, as well as the Providence City Council’s Instagram.
