The Chums, Inc. 65th Annual Conclave in Atlanta, Georgia is officially open for registration! Join us as we gather to celebrate 80 years of Chums, Inc.—honoring our legacy of sisterhood, service, and excellence since our establishment in 1946.
📌 Registration is available to Chum members only.
Please register early to avoid late fees and to secure your place at this exciting national gathering.
Important Registration Dates:
• June 30: Deadline for General Admission registration without a late fee
• July 1: Last day to request a 100% refund for cancellations
• July 1 – August 31: Late registration period (late fee applies)
• After August 31: Registration will close and no additional registrations will be accepted

This Memorial Day, we honor all who have served and sacrificed for our nation — the brave men and women who answered the call of duty with courage, honor, and unwavering love for country.
Today, we also lift up the stories of the often-overlooked Black women who served in silence, strength, and sacrifice. From the battlefields and military hospitals to intelligence offices and support units, they broke barriers while defending freedoms they themselves were too often denied. Many gave their lives. Many carried burdens history failed to fully acknowledge. Yet they continued to serve with dignity, resilience, and pride.
Please take a moment to honor and remember the family members who served our country and have since passed away by sharing their names below.

What a beautiful and inspiring day!
On Saturday, May 2nd, we were proud to re-install all of our officers, who were re-elected for another term. Thank you for your continued leadership and dedication!” We also had the joy of welcoming two new members into our Providence Chums family. Welcome new Chums Beatrice Metts Bell and Christie Tucker! 💛 💚

💛Women’s History Month Spotlight – Chums, Incorporated💚
The National PR Committee invites the women of Chums to share how Chums has been part of your personal history by submitting via email a voice recording answering one of the five questions, (also include how long you've been a Chum) and a photo to the NPR Chair or Ambassador for your region.
Your story may be featured as we celebrate the legacy and impact of Chums during Women’s History Month!

Celebrating 80 Years of Service, Sisterhood & Fun! 💛💚

February was full of friendship and community for the Providence Chums. We kicked off with “Going Red” on February 2nd, celebrated Founders Day at the Rhode Island School of Design Museum, and ended the month with a memorable evening at Trinity Repertory Company to see The Roommate, a touching story about an unexpected friendship.

This year is extra special as our Providence Chapter celebrates 60 years of fellowship! We are grateful for the friendships we’ve built and look forward to many more years of service, sisterhood, and fun.✨

In 2026, we honor the 100th anniversary of Black History Month by celebrating the profound impact of Black Americans on science, culture, and democracy, while addressing ongoing calls for equity we are reminded that Black History is American history — let's celebrate and honor it today and every day. Here's to the strength, resilience and brilliance of Black leaders, past and present.
