We are excited to welcome Evan Holguin as the newest member of the Catholic Foundation of Rhode Island! As Assistant Director of Planned Giving, Evan will work with donors on how to structure wills and other gifts to meet their charitable and financial goals. He shares the Foundation’s passion for donor-centered service and is excited to help donors reach their goals in support of the Diocese of Providence.

Previous to joining the Catholic Foundation, Evan worked as a fundraiser with the Knights of Columbus and EWTN Global Catholic Network. His dedication to charitable giving has led him to earn designations as a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and Fellow in Charitable Estate Planning (FCEP).

You’re likely to meet Evan at events around the Diocese accompanied by his wife, Rose, and their two children, Emilia and James. Please join us in welcoming him!

In 2016, John M. Marinatto (1957 - 2021) created the Marinatto Family Scholarship Fund with the Catholic Foundation of Rhode Island. Each year in perpetuity, this permanent endowment fund awards a scholarship to at least one college-bound student-athlete with financial need at every Catholic high school within the Diocese of Providence.
