We’re honored to be a 2026 Cox Charities Grant Recipient!

Thanks to the support of Cox Charities, more Rhode Island high school students will have access to meaningful experiential learning opportunities through the PrepareRI Internship Program.

This investment helps connect local talent with real-world workplace experiences, allowing students to explore careers, build professional skills, and gain the confidence needed to succeed in Rhode Island’s future workforce.

Together, we’re helping create stronger talent pipelines, supporting career readiness, and ensuring Rhode Island’s next generation is prepared for the opportunities ahead.

Thank you, Cox, for investing in Rhode Island youth and the future of our workforce.

Yesterday, residents, business leaders, and stakeholders gathered at Harris Hall in Woonsocket City Hall for Mayor Chris Beauchamp’s State of the City Address and the release of Woonsocket’s Roadmap for Inclusive Economic Development.

The roadmap focuses on five pillars:
• Workforce, Education, and Economic Mobility
• Placemaking, Public Safety, and Commercial Corridors
• Business Retention, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation
• Coordination, Engagement, and Shared Leadership
• City Identity, Marketing, and Investment Attraction

The evening included presentations from community leaders, conversations around Woonsocket’s future, and a community signing in support of the work ahead.

An exciting step forward for Woonsocket — and only the beginning.

Woonsocket is ready. Stronger together.
