💫 Applications for the 2026 DoRI Scholarships close May 1st!!

Each year we offer scholarships to aspiring doulas in the community to continue to pursue our mission of expanding the doula workforce.
This year, thanks to a generous donation from Blue Cross and Blue Shield Rhode Island we are able to offer three Scholarships to support new doula training for BIPOC non-members as well as three professional development scholarships and one CLC scholarship for current DoRI members.

💜 Meet the Doulas of Rhode Island 💜
What a joy it was to gather with community last night at our Landmark Medical Center Meet the Doulas Night! Families got to connect with birth and postpartum doulas from across Rhode Island — asking questions, sharing stories, and learning how doula care can support every step of the pregnancy, birth and postpartum journey.
This event holds special meaning falling during Black Maternal Health Week (April 11–17, 2026) 🌸 — a week dedicated to raising awareness, amplifying Black voices in maternal health, and advocating for the policy and community change needed to end the Black maternal health crisis. Research continues to show that doula support is one of the most effective, evidence-based ways to improve outcomes for Black birthing families. We are committed to being part of that change here in Rhode Island.
