We’re shifting the date for this year’s Iron Pour! Instead of Sunday, October 25, we’re now holding the event on Saturday, November 14, 2026. The rain date will be the following Saturday, November 21, 2026. Be sure to mark your calendars and stay tuned for more updates!

We worked with the RI Kung Fu and Lion Dance Club to have a send off for some of their practice lions that were ready to be retired. We were honored to help facilitate this burning. Thanks to Luyi and the RIKFC team for coming by!

Here's a closer look at the many hands and faces that made our Open House a huge success. It's those same hands that are crafting the future of The Steel Yard, and we couldn't be more excited to see what that future looks like. This event was an opportunity for Yardies to come together, explore the studios, laugh, and create lasting connections–all the while letting us know just how much The Steel Yard meant to them.

Even with this high note, there's still plenty of work ahead of us. but the outpouring of care and support from so many new and familiar faces showed us that we won't be going it alone–many hands lighten the load, after all.

Our Open House was this past Saturday, and it was such an amazing time! We'll be doing a larger retrospective post later this month, but enjoy these few snapshots from our donor brunch prior to the event.

Can you believe it? Our Spring Open House Fundraiser is this Saturday, and we're really excited for you to see everything that we've got in store for you! The weather is looking a *tad* dicey, so in the event that it rains, our Open House will move inside our studios 🌦️

Rain or shine, we'll be there and we hope you will too!
