Founded in 1999, the Rhode Island Free Clinic Is a non-profit organization dedicated to provide free, comprehensive primary preventive health services to low income, uninsured adults in Rhode Island. It also serves as an educational training and development site for health care professionals.

Dear RIFC community,

Due to some HVAC issues in the building, we have been battling high temperatures throughout the week. For the safety and comfort of our volunteers and patients, the clinic will be closed tomorrow, 9/17. We’re thrilled to announce that the Rhode Island Free Clinic has been voted 3rd Place Winner in the Red Sox Foundation’s 12th Annual Impact Awards, presented by the Manning Family Foundation!

This year’s awards highlight organizations making a difference for people with diabetes -and we’re honored to be recognized alongside so many dedicated changemakers across New England. As the 3rd place winner in Rhode Island this award will help us further our mission.

We look forward to celebrating with the Red Sox Foundation, Manning Family Foundation, and fellow award recipients at Fenway Park on September 13th.
