RHODE ISLAND YOU RAISED $5,000,000 IN 2 DAYS!! That means thousands of people chose generosity. Chose community. Chose to show up for the organizations doing the work every day, often quietly, often without enough, and always with heart.

From food access to arts education, housing, mentoring, mental health, animal welfare, community organizing, youth programs, and so much more, this moment belongs to every nonprofit, every donor, every volunteer, every sponsor, and every person who helped spread the word.

This is what is all about. Rhode Island is proving that small can be mighty. That collective giving matters, and that when we come together, we can move real resources to the organizations building a stronger, more connected state.

401Gives kicks off March 31 at 6 AM and runs through April 1 at 6 PM!

We've been at this for 45 years. Not just talking about food justice. Actually doing it. Building gardens. Training farmers. Employing young people who need the work and the skills.

Right now, we're finishing a food hub at Urban Edge Farm. When it's done, 150+ farmers will have somewhere to process, store, and distribute what they grow, directly impacting food access in RI. The kind of infrastructure that means a farmer selling greens at a farmers market can suddenly fill wholesale orders because they have walk-in coolers and a commercial wash station.

And 50 young people are working in our programs right now. Getting paid. Learning to grow food, fix irrigation, manage a harvest. Real work that leads somewhere.

Your donation funds this. And if you give during a special match period, your gift is doubled: March 31 at 6 AM, 12 PM, and 4:01 PM, and April 1 at 12 PM, 4:01 PM, and 5 PM. Your $100 becomes $200. Your $250 becomes $500.

The Gloria Gemma Foundation is rooted in the legacy of Gloria, whose compassion inspired a community built on support and hope. Though she passed before the Foundation's creation, her spirit initiated a growing quilt of stories from survivors, families, and caregivers, symbolizing resilience and shared humanity.

On March 31st, the Foundation will participate in 401Gives, inviting you to help us continue to provide free healing programs and resources for cancer patients and their loved ones. Your generosity is vital to sustaining this mission.
