Brown SASE

Brown SASE The Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE) was established to help prepare Asian heritage scientists and engineers for success.

The Brown University chapter offers for like-minded individuals for professional and social interactions. Founded in 2007, the purpose of the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE) encompasses the following:

1. Helping Asian heritage scientific and engineering professionals achieve their full potential through engagement between lowerclassmen, upperclassmen, Brown School of Engineering

professors & faculty, and community members beyond Brown.
2. Classes and concentration advising for first and second years as well as assist them with career opportunities.
3. Provide a space for like-minded individuals and collaborate with other affinity groups, such as the National Society of Black Engineers, the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, and the Society of Women Engineers.
4. Foster unity, understanding, and support for students representing all of the pan Asian cultures.
