ANYA GOES TO THE URI CAREER FAIR 🐏💙🔥

URI gets its own post because !! Career fairs turned out to be one of my favorite parts of my internship. Talking about WaterFire, our mission and our internship program is so inspiring and easy to do because I have nothing but love for .

Thank you to everyone who listened to me yap today and for such a great event. Check the link in our bio to apply for a WaterFire Internship, and check stories for the lunch review I’m about to post 🤭

Hi everyone! I’m Liv Tino, a Spring 2026 Social Media Interns :)

I’m a senior at Providence College, majoring in Social Sciences with a minor in Business and Innovation. I’m from Bedford, New York & I’m not traveling, you’ll typically find me doing yoga, playing piano/guitar, or cooking.

I’m especially excited to dive deeper into Providence’s unique quirks and tight-knit community; particularly the art that brings this city to life. As the smallest state with the biggest heart, Rhode Island’s spirit is unmistakable - and to me, WaterFire sits at the heart of the Providence community🔥😄🌷

Hi!! My name is Anya Lane and I’m WaterFire’s spring 2026 Volunteer and Event Management Intern!

I’m so excited to for this opportunity to work with the WaterFire staff and its team of volunteers- (I’ve heard a lot of great things about you guys!) who make the WaterFire mission possible every day.

I’m a junior at the University of Rhode Island studying Political Science and Public Relations. I’m from Marshfield, MA and spend my free time at the beach, in a creative pursuit, doing yoga or with my friends and family. I am so excited for the year to come!

Hello everyone! My name is Sara Green and I am one of the Development Interns this spring!!

I am from Andover, MA and a recent graduate from Salve Regina University! I graduated with a B.S in Marketing and a B.A in Dance!

I’m extremely excited to continue to grow professionally in this internship opportunity! I’m looking to learn more about grant research, writing, and the process of applying for funding. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, reading, and teaching jazz and contemporary dance to my students!

Hi everyone, it’s Andrew the photo intern this past fall.

I’m extremely grateful to have been part of this community for a couple months, and to have interacted with so many new people both within and beyond WaterFire. From the WaterFire staff, to the volunteers, to the vendors and locals at the lightings, I got to see a little bit more about the city.

Also, working with the volunteer photography group has been a huge privilege. It’s amazing to see so many hardworking photographers volunteering their own time to capture the lightings.

I’m walking home from this experience with a greater appreciation for community-centered art 🔥🛶🌆
