To honor the sacrifice that our Brothers at FFNY made on 9/11, the ownership and management of Russell Boyle Funeral Home have graciously extended an invitation for all to attend a "First Responder Cookout" to be held at Russell Boyle Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence on September 11, 2026 starting at 11am until 1pm.

If you can attend, please try to make it to show your appreciation for their efforts.

Just a few pictures from the 2026 Relief Association Fishing Trip. The weather was perfect and the company was even better. Many fish were caught, although some were babies...and lots of laughs were had.

There is still time to join us on the PFD Fishing Trip aboard Francis Fleets premier ffishing charter boat on Thursday, April 13th. We leave the dock in Galillee promptly at 1pm (please arrive no later than 12:30pm) and will return at about 6pm. Sandwiches and water provided. Coolers with your drinks of choice are welcome. 50/50 Raffle on board and pool for the heaviest fish. Price is only $75 per person. Contact me asap to het your name in and help make this trip epic !!!

Local 799 Golf Tourney to benefit Local 799’s Charitable Fund.

150$ per golfer.
100$ for tee sponsors.

A Local 799 quarter zip pull over included for every golfer in their swag bags.
Prizes for winning 4some, longest drive and closest to the pin.
50/50 competitions on the course.
Beverages and burgers and dogs provided on the course, with a BBQ dinner and raffles to follow.

ATTENTION !!!!!

DUE TO ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS, THE FISHING TRIP HAS BEEN POSTPONED BY FRANCIS FLEET TO THURSDAY, AUGUST 13, 2026.

On Thursday, August 13th, we will be heading out on our annual Fishing Trip on one of Francis Fleet's premiere fishing vessels. The boat leaves the dock promptly at 1pm so plan on being there no later than 12:30pm. The price for Relief Association Members is $75 per person and $85 per person for non members. We only accept pre-paid reservations and limit the number of people who attend to 65 so get your money in asap. Once we are sold out, we are sold out !!!

On Saturday, August 8th, 12pm to 7pm we will be hosting the PFD Outing at Yawgoo Bakes, 555 Slocum Road, Exeter, RI. This is a great event for all ages. If you have kids or grandkids, bring them down for a day of fun & games, and don't forget their bathing suits because who doesn't want to get wet on a hot summer day. We will once again have a water slide and bounce houses for them to tire themselves out on. There will also be Face Painters, games & contests for the kids and The Great Baldini will be wowing the crowd with his world renowned Magic Show. There will be a wide variety of BBQ fare on hand along with Little Necks, and Clam Cakes & Chowder... There will be plenty of water & soft drinks for the kids as well as a full bar for adults. We have a DJ spinning your favorite tunes all afternoon and then Corey Daniel Chouinard will be playing Fireside from 4pm-7pm.

Come out and enjoy a day of fun and comraderie. This is a 26 Week Club event so 95% of you have already paid for this event. For those Retirees who aren't sure if you're a 26 Week Club member you can call me at (401) 751-3407 to inquire.
