Have you always wondered how we put on WaterFire with only a small team of staff members? Join us on Wednesday, February 4 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. to hear from WaterFire leadership, offering an opportunity to connect with the WaterFire Staff + longtime WaterFire volunteers who are the backbone of our organization and make it happen! 🔥

Learn more about upcoming WaterFire projects, plans and exciting opportunities for folks to get involved. Attendees will hear from WaterFire Providence Leadership including Executive Director Mark Allan, Director of Events and Operations Alicia Rota, Director of Creative Services Laura Duclos, and Artistic Director and Founder Barnaby Evans. Presentations will include updates on major changes from 2025, new additions to the art installation on the river, upcoming exhibitions and programming at the WaterFire Arts Center, sponsorship opportunities, and key initiatives. 💥

This gathering is open to all volunteers and anyone interested in volunteering and becoming involved with an iconic arts organization in the City of Providence. 💫

Help Us Blanket Rhode Island with Posters!

We’ve got three weeks left of Growing the NetWorks — and we want EVERYONE to know!

We’re looking for a few awesome volunteers to help get our posters into coffee shops, libraries, community centers, and other hot spots across Rhode Island.

Whether you can hit your own neighborhood, all of Providence, or take on a state-wide adventure, every poster you hang helps us reach more people.

🎯 Goal: At least 100 spots in the next few days!
🗓 Timing: Anytime in the next day or two (or this weekend!)
📍 We’ve got plenty of posters ready for pickup at the WaterFire Arts Center.

If you can help, drop by to grab a stack or send us a quick message so we can get you set up.

Let’s make sure everyone sees Growing the NetWorks before it closes August 31!
