UMWA Career Centers, Inc. First class adult vocational training located at the UMWA Career Center in Greene Co. Serving the SWPA region.

Through the combined efforts of UMWA President Cecil Roberts and the West Virginia Senatorial and Congressional delegation, the UMWA Career Centers Inc., in partnership with WorkForce West Virginia, has secured funding through a National Dislocated Workers grant (formerly known as Coal National Emergency Grant) from the US Department of Labor which will be used to assist coal miners who have been laid off beginning March 1, 2012, to obtain retraining in demand occupations.
