4 Ways to Use your Off Arm as a Ball Handler Your off arm is more valuable than you think. It can be used as a:

1️⃣ Paddle to swim past your defender.
2️⃣ Swiper to swipe the defenders hand off your hip.
3️⃣ Shield to keep separation between you and the defender.
4️⃣ Arm bar to hold the shot blocker off when finishing. Remember, training has to translate!

In honor of the Michael Jordan Documentary, ‘The Last Dance’, we broke down how to read your defender while playing out of the triple threat. Michael Jordan’s game transcends time. Countless players after him have used and are still using his moves. From Kobe Bryant, to Kevin Durant to Kawhi Leonard and more! Let’s learn a piece of what made him so unstoppable when he caught the basketball. Here are 3 reads Jordan mastered and passed down:
1 - You get your foot outside the defender’s foot
2 - The defender shifts to keep your foot from getting outside theirs
3 - The defender backs up to try to contain you
