I want to thank my big brother in the coaching fraternity Coach Sammy Dabbs HurdleCoachDabbs for coming out to The Lew and sharing the recruiting process for HS athletes.

Definitely got some good insight as a HS coach myself too to help my athletes. So much new info to recruiting that I didn't have have back in my day running with him at UNT.

New record alert! These farmers got to mark their names in the LHS history books for their accomplishments in track & field. Aj Erwin is the new record-holder in the boy’s 100m open with a time of 10.28 seconds, and Sydney Upshaw is the new girl’s shot put record-holder with a throw of 40’ 9”. Congratulations, Farmers!

Man what an eventful 3 days here in Austin with some of our XC athletes. I want to personally thank our XC captains from this past year Aleric Pollard & Izel Godinez for coming this year and showing me the locations of the hills Coach Will took them too last year.

He had a famous saying "HILLS PAYS THE BILLS!!" and I am confident the athletes who came this year will be ready to face any challenging hill we face in a race with confidence.

Also, parents and athletes we need those physicals and online rankone forms completed on time before the school year begins so we can start practicing on time.

Got in some triple jump work yesterday after practice with this young lady. She's already talking about breaking the girls TJ record.

Excited to see how she develops and she's also a 100H 😁

Great job Dillynne coming out for farmer strong in the AM & now coming to morning track practices.
