Look who is feeling much better today! 🐥🖤 She is doing well, but we did discover a few injuries that are most likely from being trampled by other chicks. We will keep her clean and dry, and see how she heals. This is great news for this little lady! 🐥🖤

Another little, sick baby made her way to us yesterday. 🐣 Her egg tooth was still attached to her beak, so we were able to determine she is very young. She shipped from the hatchery too early to get the critical nutrition she needed before being placed in a box with other chicks and shipped without food, water or heat. Once delivered she was lethargic and got trampled by her brooder-mates. She is still in a delicate state, but we are doing our best to get her back on track! 🐥🖤

This is what rescue is about! 🖤🐽🖤 These girls went from being trapped inside a house with 80+ other pigs to being outside and doing what pigs do best! We are having fun watching them blossom. They are all young,
spayed and available for adoption. They’d love to have familiies of their own to spoil them for the rest of their lives! 🐖🖤🐖

Today, the sheep went to their new home! They got adopted by the perfect family and we couldn’t be more happy to watch them be spoiled and loved! All three brothers get to stay together. We are fundraising to pull this guy and get him help or give him a compassionate journey if he is compromised. Otherwise he will have to endure shipping to another country for slaughter, if he makes it to a border. Our plan is to get bloodwork done to see if there is anything we can do to help him for whatever remaining time he has left, or make the humane decision to help him pass if there is nothing to be done. Costs are estimated to be $2000 for his bail, transportation, quarantine and vet visit, but refeeding protocol will exceed that. We need all the suooort we can get to help this old soul.

🐔 Two very enthusiastic wing-flaps for Roger and Sweetie! 🐔

These two little chirpers were brought to us just in the nick of time to get their tangled tendons completely fixed! Thanks to their quick-thinking caregivers who didn’t wait around, Roger and Sweetie are now strutting, scratching, and living their absolute best chick lives. One single day of compassion truly unlocked a lifetime of happiness for these two cuties! Fixing tiny bird legs is definitely tedious, delicate, and time-consuming work—but seeing them zoom around healthy and happy is the ultimate reward! 🐣💛🏥

Bun is teaching Ernie how things work around here. As you can see, Ernie is slowly turning into Bun’s shadow 🐶🖤🐾 They act alike, sit alike, and even run from the cats alike! I think it’s safe to say the place will be in good hands with Ernie in charge someday 🖤🐾

Zoey wanted a new bedroom! 🐽🪚⚒️ This will be easier and safer to winterize and provide a heat source! I was able to use all donated materials to build her the perfect room! She even had a sleepover with Rosie! 🐖🖤
