Did you know that Lions Clubs are also a great organization for young people and families? Our North Oldham Lions Club is a space where families can actively participate in meaningful service. Instead of just talking about helping others, parents and children can volunteer side by side—whether it’s organizing local events, or volunteering to help others in the community, or to support in disaster relief, the opportunities to make a real difference are endless. This shared sense of purpose strengthens family bonds by turning kindness and responsibility into real, lived experiences that benefit the entire community. Lions Clubs are also a great place to make new connections by introducing like minded members making a positive impact in their communities. Won’t you join us today! Grab a family member or a friend and come see what all the excitement is about.

Easter is the perfect time to get together with family and friends for a festive celebration and our Lions Club Easter Party on March 28th did not disappoint! Thank you to the Oldham Community for making our recent Easter Egg Hunt such an eggcellent hit! We had over 100 excited children join us at the North Oldham Library and across the lawns of the Lions Club to enjoy festive snacks and drinks, fun themed egg hunts, spoon egg races and word find games! Children even enjoyed a visit with the one and only Easter Bunny, joining their favorite furry friend for pictures and story time. Families spent hours making memories in the sunshine and the entire day was a huge success! A special thank you to Robin Schindler Aleksevitch and her team of dedicated volunteers who helped bring this spectacular event to fruition. They made this celebration a truly memorable experience for all our families.

Here are a few pictures from the event. If you have some pictures you would like to share or thoughts on this or future events please share your feedback below. We love to hear from our members, neighbors and friends! And if you or someone you know might be interested in future events or might like to become a member, please feel free to share and like this post!

Happy Easter from all of us at The North Oldham Lions Club!🐣

Please Support Our Food Drive to Help Those in Need

Food Drive at Creasey Mahan
November 5-12
to Help Bread of Life Food Pantry

We are hosting a food drive from November 5-12 from dawn to dusk to help those who may be experiencing food insecurity.

All donations will help stock the shelves at the Bread of Life Food Pantry in Goshen. Over the last few weeks alone, the number of clients visiting the food pantry has skyrocketed.

To donate food items at Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve, visit one of our three drop-off locations: at the Nature Center, the Forest Friends Playground, and in the breezeway entry to the office (part of Mahan Manor). Each location will have signage and bins to deposit canned goods and a separate one for boxed items.

The donation bins will be available from dawn to dusk starting tomorrow and through the weekend, ending on Wednesday, November 12.

Please donate:

Cans of fruit, vegetables, beans, and canned soups
Cans of meat, including spaghetti and meatballs, tamales, tuna, chicken, and others
Boxed cereals, oatmeal, and pastas

NO GLASS ALLOWED.
