It's TIME ⏲️ We will kick off on Friday night this year with the Jump and Run! Get ready for some crazy fun with this one! Then come back on Saturday night to help cheer on our Demolition Derby contestants! They will be loud and proud but they have every right to be!!!

additional pit passes must be purchased for anyone other than the driver to be allowed in the pit area! Pit passes wil be $20 for all ages

Rules and payout for jump and run in Elkton June 5th ❗️❗️❗️❗️

1st place $2000 💰

2nd place $1000 💰

3rd place $250 💰

All tires must be DOT approved for highway use. Snow Tires may be installed on the drive axle only. NO STUDDED TIRES ARE ALLOWED.

No modifications to bumper

Cars only no jeeps vans trucks or SUV

Anything that dangers cutting tires must be removed.

Driver must wear DOT approved helmet.

Eye protection (goggles or helmet shield) is required.

Driver must wear seat belt when on the track.

Running order and and bracket assignments will be determined based on the number of entries received.

Everything will run in a single class. Four, six, and eight cylinder cars will run together and cars of different sizes will run together. The number of rounds will be determined by the number of entries received.

Rubbing is racing but Derby style hitting will not be tolerated!

There will be sevral officals making the calls

You will be running a course where skill, cunning, and finesse will overcome brute force and power!S

1980 and newer stock automobiles. NO hearses

YEAR SPECIFIC RULES
2003 AND NEWER SPINDLE SWAP AND BASE MODEL LAY OVER CRADLE ONLY. STOCK DRIVESHAFT!

02 AND OLDER FORDS ARE ALLOWED SLIDER DRIVE SHAFTS.

GM IS ALLOWED 22 INCH HUMP PLATES AND SLIDER DRIVE SHAFTS.

CHRYSLER IS ALLOWED 7 LEAF PACK WITH 4 CLAMPS PER LEAF PACK AND SLIDER DRIVE SHAFT.

Engine and Transmission

• Engine and transmission must match the make of the car (Ford to Ford) (GM to GM) (Chrysler to Chrysler)

• Engine cradles are not allowed. Factory OEM engine mounts only. One chain per side can be used to help secure engine. One link max welded to frame

• 03 up Fords may have plate bolted to ALUMINUM CRADLE ONLY to assist in mounting engine and not to strengthen frame in any way. Factory rack steering must be utilized.

• You may run aftermarket shifter, steering column, transmission cooler, gas pedal and brake pedal but can’t be used to strengthen the car in any way.

• Stock transmission, stock mount and stock cross member.

Suspension
• Front and Rear suspension must freely move UP and DOWN.

• 5 lug rear ends only. No bracing. No aftermarket axles. No welding other than spider gears to make positive traction. No pinion brake.

• Stock suspension only No A-Arm swaps and no watts link conversion. Ball joints and tie rods must be OEM factory spec.

• No bead locks or solid tires. All other wheel and tire combos are ok.

Frame

• Any year factory bumpers are allowed. No fabricated or loaded bumpers. No adding metal or welding on bumpers other than mounting to car. Bumpers can be welded on. OEM make/model bumper shocks in factory orientation only.

• Max front bumper height is 24” measured to bottom of bumper. Strictly enforced.

• Drivers may utilize wire or chain in (2) places max with (1) 3/8 bolt per wire/chain in back half of car (from transmission crossmember to rear bumper). The wire/chain can go around frame but NOT attached to frame. IE: Loop chain around frame/rearend and bolt chain to itself. No welding allowed.

• 4 patch plate for preran cars.

• No tilting, pitching, cold bending or hammering allowed on frame.

• The two body bolts at core support can be changed out with 1/2” bolts max of 3 nuts each side to install core support. Nut and bolt only, no welding. Factory bushing must remain. You may stack 2 factory bushings together. 3” max washer size. This is used to bolt core support to frame only, not to be mistaken for threaded rod that protrudes through hood. No other body bolts can be touched!!

Body

• Doors may be chained or wired in 3 locations per vertical seam. Chain or wire can’t go around frame. No washers on the doors for the wire or chain to pass through. you also may weld the doors with in 3 locations per door seam with 3"x2"x1/8" plates. to many plates there will cost you to cut all the welding loose and wire them shut or load them on the trailer.

• Fuel tank and battery must be moved inside car body.

• A four-point cage is recommended for safety purposes. Door bars are to be no bigger than 2x6 tubing and 60” long max. Cage should be 6 inches off any floor pan, firewall or trans tunnel. Roll over bar allowed, connected to cage bars only. No drop legs off cage.

• Floating fuel cell mount is allowed but must be 4” from package tray sheet metal.

• You must have a 12x12 hole cut in the hood. 4 bolts allowed at hood cut out hole.

• You can cut/remove as much as you want on the body of the car, just can’t add back. No added bolts allowed in fenders.

• Hood can be secured in 6 spots with chain, wire or with single 3/8 bolts through sheet metal only.

• Trunk can be secured in 4 spots with chain, wire or with single 3/8 bolts through sheet metal only.

• Front windshield bar car be added for driver safety. No back window bar.

• Absolutely no body creasing or hammering allowed. Hood and trunk must be open during
Inspection.

• No welding on anything unless specifically stated in rules.
