Yesterday, New Hope Community Ministries had the privilege of participating in the National Night Out event hosted by the Haledon and Prospect Park Police Departments. 👮‍♀️

It was a wonderful evening filled with community, family, fun, and fellowship! We love seeing our community come together in a safe and welcoming environment where families can enjoy themselves, connect with one another, and build positive relationships with local organizations and law enforcement.

A very special THANK YOU to our amazing New Hope Teens! They represented New Hope with such enthusiasm and joy, serving as the face of our booth and helping make the evening a success. We are so proud of their leadership and willingness to serve our community!

Before backpacks are filled, we need your help.

New Hope’s School Supply Depot helps local families shop for the school supplies their children need most in a welcoming, dignified environment.

Last year, we served more than 200 children.

This year, we want to serve even more, and we’re raising $35,000 to make that possible.

Every gift helps us purchase supplies, fill donation gaps, and equip students before the school year begins.

We believe caring for our neighbors should be practical, compassionate, and full of hope. This is one way our community can come together for local families.

This year, we want to reach even more.

For many families, back-to-school season brings real financial pressure. Parents want their children to have everything they need, but the cost of supplies can quickly become overwhelming.

Through New Hope’s School Supply Depot, families can shop for backpacks, supplies, and school materials in a welcoming, dignified environment.

We are grateful for the churches, donors, volunteers, and neighbors who help make this work possible. Together, we can offer practical care and real hope to local families.

At New Hope, we believe everyone deserves to feel like a provider.

That’s why the School Supply Depot is not a traditional giveaway. Families are invited to shop for the school supplies they need at dramatically reduced prices, often 60–70% off retail cost.

This small but meaningful transaction helps:
- Preserve dignityďż˝
- Give parents choiceďż˝
- Reduce stigmaďż˝
- Ensure families choose what they truly needďż˝
- Empower parents to provide for their children with confidence

All proceeds go back into the program to help serve more families.
