🐾 Murphy’s 3-Week TPLO Update! 🐾

Murphy had a little setback this week. ❤️‍🩹 A small section of his incision opened up, so it meant another trip back to the vet. They put a few staples in to close that area back up, and now we’re back to taking it extra easy.

His 5-minute walks are on hold for now, and unfortunately, the cone has to stay on for another 2 weeks. 😩

Murphy is NOT happy about any of this! He so badly wants to jump up on the couch, run around outside, and get back to doing all the things he loves. But for now, he has to be patient and let that leg heal. 🐶💙

He’s definitely ready to be done with this recovery, but we keep reminding him that every day is one step closer to being back to his old self!

Keep healing, Murph! We love you! 🐾❤️

We are celebrating an incredible milestone for Becky a— 40 YEARS of dedication to Winning Wheels! ❤️

For four decades, Becky has poured her heart into caring for our residents and being such an important part of the Winning Wheels family. Her commitment, hard work, and love for our residents have made a lasting impact on so many lives.

🐾 Murphy’s 2-Week TPLO Update! 🐾

Murphy is doing so well! ❤️ His bandages have officially been removed, and he is healing nicely. He’s putting more weight on his back leg and walking a little more each day. His appetite is finally starting to come back too! 🥰

He’s still sporting the cone of shame, but thankfully his doctor says he only has 4 more days to go! 🎉

He can now walk for 5 minutes, twice a day, which he thinks is great… although he would like to remind everyone that he is MORE than ready to run, play, and get back to his normal routine! 😂🐶

He especially misses all of his friends at Winning Wheels and can’t wait until he can come back and see everyone! ❤️

Keep healing, Murph! We’re so proud of you! 🐾❤️

Happy discharge day for Jimmy! Jimmy came to Winning Wheels in June 2026 after suffering a Stroke. Jimmy has worked incredibly hard with our therapy team and made great strides in his recovery. We are excited to celebrate his discharge back into the community! Congratulations, Jimmy on this exciting next chapter! We are cheering you on every step of the way!

🎪🎟️ We brought the carnival to Winning Wheels! 🎟️🎪

We held our very own Winning Wheels Carnival, and it was a day full of FUN! 🥳 From exciting games and awesome prizes to everyone’s favorite carnival treat—cotton candy! 🍭—there were plenty of smiles and laughs all around.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special. ❤️ We sure know how to bring the fun to Winning Wheels! 🎪🎉

Update on Murphy- surgery went well and he is heading home.

Many of you have been wondering and asking about Murphy! He unfortunately tore his CCL and will be having TPLO surgery today. He will have an 8-12 week strict activity restriction. They say many dogs have a very good long term outcome. Please say some prayers for Murphy as he is heading into surgery soon. We will keep you updated on his progress. 🐕 ❤️
