Just want to say thanks to everyone for coming out and supporting the fireworks last night! It was a hot one for sure! Want to give a big shout out to Farmers National Bank, Rock River Lumber and Grain and the City of Prophetstown for the generous donations to help with the cost of the fireworks! Another big shoutout to Roger Williams at Jr. Sign Company for the quick save on our banners! Thanks to Winning Wheels for moving the Summer Concert Series to the park for the day! And the biggest of thanks to all that volunteered their time and efforts to help with another year of fireworks in our small town! Next year is a big one as we celebrate the U.S 250 years! Please keep your eye out for fundraisers throughout the year! Also we are always looking for volunteers to help us put on this big event! If I missed anyone I apologize in advance! See ya’ll next year!

Well folks it looks like we are the only ones locally doing our fireworks on the 4th! Hopefully you will all join us in the Prophetstown State Park for what is, in our eyes, the best scenery to watch fireworks. Nestled on the banks of the Rock River, come get your spot, sit back and enjoy the show! See ya’ll on Friday!!

As we get closer to the Friday we would like to remind everyone that this is a non for profit event solely based off of donations. Without the support of donations this event can’t take place! We will have donation buckets at all the entrances and remember we only take cash donations at this time. Thanks for your continued support and we hope you enjoy the 4th of July Celebration in the beautiful Prophetstown State Park!

We are still in need of some volunteers to help collect donations at the gates. Volunteers are hard to come by these days and we would appreciate any help you can lend. This is what keeps this event going!

It wouldn't be the 4th of July in Prophetstown without the 3-on-3 Firecracker Classic basketball tournament! This tournament is sponsored by the class of 2028 as their prom fundraiser!

Please share this info with your basketball players so they have time to grab their teammates, thing of a crazy team name and get those jerseys made!
