Book club was great tonight. We all enjoyed the book but we were in agreement the first book was the better of the two. We rated Somewhere beyond the Sea a 4. We also discussed a book club day out in November to a Book and Booze event at the Civic Center in Huntington.

Next meeting will be July 23rd at 6:30. This months book is Jar of Hearts by Jennifer Hilliar. Anna read us the description and it sounds really interesting. I hope you will read along with us and come to a meeting. If you can’t make it to the meeting I will post an online thoughts and rating thread the day of our next book club so you can share your thoughts.

I’m a little late posting but life happens. Lol The get together was a success and everyone gave the movie “Remarkably Bright Creatures” a 5!! We loved it!!

We have also chose next months book and it’s a sequel to one of our previous books. Our June book is…….”Somewhere Beyond the sea” by TJ Klune. We are all really excited about this because we all really loved the first book.

How do we pick a new book you may ask!?! We all place names of books, we have liked or have heard they are a great read, on a piece of paper into a jar. You can add as many as you like. These books stay in the jar and every month we will blind draw a book out. This has been a fun and exciting way to enjoy many different genres of books.

When is our next meeting?

June 25 at 6:30.
Address is 36 Township Rd 1204, Proctorville, OH 45669
