Some of the winning quilts from the Quilt Show hosted by Crook County Quilt Guild last week. So many amazingly beautiful quilts!

BEST OF SHOW: Kathy Valverde’s Tula Pink butterfly quilt
BEST OF THEME: Janet Fenster’s purple Scrappy Chemo Quilt Challenge quilt
BEST OF LARGE QUILTS: Maryann Carbaugh’s southwestern style bed quilt
BEST OF HOME DÉCOR/ART/SMALL QUILTS: Gayle Ridderbusch’s wool applique
BEST OF MACHINE OR HAND QUILTED BY THE MAKER: Jill Monley’s original circular design.


The three quilts that were chosen by local quilt shop owners as favorites were the large quilt with woodland critters, Forest Galorest, made by Lois Shepard, the large Tula Pink Butterfly made by Kathy Valverde and the large quilt with cross-stitched sunflowers made by Dianne Gardner.

Scrappy Chemo Challenge - members were challenged to make chemo quilts that used at least 12 different fabrics from the guild’s chemo fabric stash. The quilts pictured here were the top 3 (I know there are 4 quilts but there was a tie!) Which one is your favorite?
