Crook County Cadet Boychoir Prineville, Oregon
Founded in 1967
Director, Marvin Cochran This is a non-profit all boy choir ages 8 until the voice changes to an adult singing voice.

The music varies from classical to contemporary. The choir meets twice a week in the evening at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, in Prineville, OR. The group usually tours once a year. Past trips include, New York, Florida, Japan, and Ireland.

It is hard to believe that I started the Boychoir 50 years ago and it existed for 42 years. They said it couldn't be done in Crook Co. I announced we would have a rehearsal for all boys who were interested and cookies would be served.
40 boys showed up! We were on our way! What a blessing
to us and to our community. Love you all!

After acknowledging invitations to perform I now realize the quality of our music. Thanks to all of you for all the hard work that goes with mastering quality music. I enjoy hearing from many of you.

It's Christmas once again at the Cochran house and all are well and happy...we are blessed with ex-choir members and working with kindergardeners training for future members at the Christian School.2016

I'm back to teaching the kinder at the Christian school. They have been plagued with the flu and long term colds. JoAnn Fenderson is the classroom teacher and warns me of upcoming illnesses.

The days of winter are waning and spring must be just around the corner since Mary and I re-seeded the acre with grass seed. Ah life has such rewards and his bounty has been gracious to us all.

Heaven has blessed us with two grand-daughters Meg and Georgia who are visiting this week in Prineville..Just remembered that next week was summer camp for the boy choir. What joyous fun that was..Miss all of you Mr. C.
